Our first community meeting for the Resilient NJ Raritan River and Bay Communities initiative will be held virtually on October 14th, 2021 from 5:30-7:00 PM. We hope to see you there! Join to share your perspectives on priorities for flood risk reduction and how strategies can improve quality of life.
Live translation will be provided in Spanish, and American Sign Language. Please email or call us (ResilientRRBC@dep.nj.gov or 732-661-3808) to request translation into other languages.

We hope you’ll join the meeting to ensure your perspectives are incorporated into the action plan to reduce flooding in Carteret, Old Bridge, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, South Amboy, South River, and Woodbridge. During the meeting, we’ll give a brief overview of the project status and goals and introduce new flood maps that were developed for this project. The majority of time will be dedicated to breakout sessions focused on hearing about your experiences with flooding and your visions and priorities for your community’s future.
