Founded in 1869, the Township of Old Bridge is located across the Raritan Bay from Staten Island, New York, and contains a wide variety of rivers and brooks within its 40 square miles. It borders East Brunswick, Monroe Township, Sayreville, and Spotswood in Middlesex County. Old Bridge gets its name from the fact that the first bridge spanning the South River was built there and it became referred to as “the Old Bridge.” Old Bridge is home to about 66,000 people.
