South River
New JerseyFounded in 1898, South River is bordered by the South River, an offshoot of the Raritan River. South River is the smallest municipality in the region at three square miles and just over 16,000 residents. It is bordered by Sayreville in the east, and East Brunswick in the south, west, and north. The Borough contains Edward A. Grekoski Park as well as Dailey’s Pond.
